what do persons with disabilities do after their school careers? how many stay home, end up in institutions, go to work, continue studies on teriary level? how does official employment policy react to a growing number of students with disabilities who have successfully finished their studies? how many students with disabilities drop out of employment?

well, lets look into statistics, lets compare across countries, lets develop evidence based policies. impossible! there is only little data available. and while we are waiting for a comparative study on issues of transition from school to employment others have followed up the careers of kids with disabilities. henning sußebach visits his former clients, who by now are grown up and writes (GER):
