meint der meister anläßlich eines langen interviews mit der zeit. herr godard ist autorität. sowohl für den interviewer, der am beginn seines gesprächs mit dem maitre nervös an seinen aufnahmegeräten herumfummelt als auch für sauseschritt. da liegen seine histoire(es) du cinema als dvd abspielbereit herum und sauseschritt vermag nur häppchenweise zu konsumieren. so groß ist der respekt!

you never heard of junot diaz ? you maybe european and this would be an excuse. nevertheless its worth reading his novel the brief wonderous life of oscar wao, which was published in september 2007. diaz is us-american and immigrated from the dominican republic when he was six years old. he became widely known by his collection of short stories about growing up on his old home island and in the u.s. this book is called drown and was published in 1996. he currently teaches at the massechusets institute of technology (mit).

it may be also be a good idea to listen to what mr. diaz has to say about identities of immigrants and the new phenomenon of cross-boarder movement. radioopensource published an interview with him (three parts) which can be downloaded from the open source website. junot diaz on us immigration:

noch vor wenigen jahren war das coole blog meist ein gegenentwurf zum naiven design der privaten websites. klarheit war gefragt, so als ob der rasche blick auf die sich zu langsam ladende seite nicht durch die unklarheit der eigenen handschrift behindert werden sollte. klarheit, ja! klarheit. auch wenn die inhalte sehr oft den mobiltelefongesprächen in der metro ähnelten: das private in den öffentlichen raum gestellt, anbiedernd, narzistisch, unangenehm. und vor allem: uninteressant.

web 2.0. hat uns allen eine reihe von applikationen beschert, die heute unsere blogs zur unwägbaren überraschung mutiert haben: was passiert, wenn ich hier klicke? eine gewisse überlastung des blickes herrscht vor: die vielfalt ist wieder in und der widgets sind viele.

auch die eigene handschrift kommt zurück in die kalte welt flimmernder elektronen: eine tendenz, die sich auch am comics markt nachverfolgen läßt. wenn also das blog einem comic näher steht als einem buch, warum sollte die handschrift nicht auch regelmäßig gepostet werden?

tatsächlich, blogger/innen schreiben per hand, manchmal ausnahmsweise und unentschieden, manchmal fast schon regelmäßig. letztendlich mag dies auch eine gute übung gegen den verlust der handschrift sein.
