At that point we stop wanting things to be better, and want them to be simpler, lighter or smaller instead. of course, she is talking about thoughts creeping into our minds, when we already bought something cool, which we cannot handle easily. Like drug addicts we do not think about what comes after, when we are short before the shot ....

da fällt sauseschritt ein: ein neuer mac müßte her (OS 8.6, wie soll sauseschritt da ordentlich bloggen können!?) und das compaq laptop gehört endlich entseucht. und sollte es nicht möglich sein, eine digitalkamera zu beschaffen, mit der man/frau auch schnappschüsse zuwege bringt? und der alte scanner: einfach zum kotzen! aber nein, reden wir nur ruhig über die grenzen der technik, frau professor. eine interesssante betrachtungsweise des problems, das sie da so locker ins gespräch bringen. hat das nicht auch etwas von dem alten small is beautiful der achtziger jahre?. was sich wohl microsoft dazu überlegt? ich jedenfalls ......
