the magazine of air dolomiti made sauseschritt aware of this city attraction: luci d´artista: this plein-air exhibitio of contemporari art offers installation set up at piazzas all across the city; among the works on display, a new installation by the turin-born artist nicola de maria that lights up piazza carlo emanuele II. simultaneously with luci d´artisto, piazza san carlo is hosting manifesTO, an open-space exhibition of contemporary art: 44 large-format posters that transform the piazza into an event-site.

wenn sich sauseschritt auf die arkadengänge und winderschönen plätze der via roma gefreut hatte, so haben dieser vorfreude die wütenden vorbereitungen der winterolympiade 2006 einen strich durch die rechnung gemacht. dafür überraschte das nächtliche turin mit einer fülle von lichtinstallationen, die sauseschritt bewogen, bis weit über mitternacht die altstadt zu durchstreifen. zwar war das ende der aktion schon mit 16. jänner angekündigt, aber die stadtverwaltung nimmt es mit derlei fristen offenbar nicht so ernst. wenn es den menschen gefällt .........
